He showed off a wide range of talents, including stair climbing and Spartan races!
Hiroshi Kato

Vertical Run Tokyo Tower Champion (2021)
Spartan Japan Championship Winner (2022 & 2024)
Spartan Race Japan Representative
Hasetsune 30K Age Group Winner
Hiroshi started track and field in junior high school and continued to run enthusiastically through his university years. Unfortunately, he was unable to achieve his dream of running in the Hakone Ekiden, but he continued running after getting a job and entering the workforce.
During this time, he showed his talent in stair races that he encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic, winning the Tokyo Tower competition! After that, he continued to win Spartan races one after another, and is still active as one of Japan's leading athletes!
[Late bloomer] What enabled you to demonstrate your talent as an athlete once you entered the workforce?
1. I have continued to work hard and keep going for 20 years without giving up!
2) I broke down the barriers in my mind, made up my mind, and took on the challenge with all my might!
3) We encouraged and competed with the best players in each area!
As he works full-time, his training is based around morning practice and running to work, with stair and Spartan training in between.
As an athlete, Hiroshi wants to share the joy of playing and showing sports, and he is also working to promote sports!
Although her days have been hectic since her daughter was born, she is grateful that she has been able to continue competing thanks to the support of her family. She is aiming to remain active until she stands on the podium with her daughter!
Saint is supporting Hiroshi with all our might!
